Your questions.

Is CDM relevant to residential work?

When should we appoint you?

Early involvement allows health and safety considerations to inform design decisions and the information issued to contractors.

When should the appointment be discussed?

At the start of design development. Early discussion allows responsibilities, competence requirements and the scope of support to be agreed.

Is Principal Designer work included automatically?
